Choral Music
The United Nations Singers Geneva Choir

The main goal of the Choir is to spread the message of peace and harmony between different
nations through singing. The idea was taken from the UN Singers at United Nations Headquarters in New York, which has been in existence for
more than 60 years and is very active.
The repertoire of the Geneva Choir includes folk, classical and popular songs of different
countries from all over the world in native languages and also some traditional United Nations' songs, like "Let
there be Peace on Earth" or "Heaven Right Now".
The UN Singers Geneva Choir is open to staff of the United Nations and other international
organizations in Geneva, Diplomatic Missions and their family members.
The Choir usually rehearses on Wednesday evenings (from 18.15 to 20.00) and on Friday
afternoons (from 12.00 to 13.00).
